Award-winning Actor John Aniston to Introduce AHI Honoree Constantine

WASHINGTON, DC — Award-winning Actor John Aniston will introduce his colleague and friend, Actor Michael Constantine, at the American Hellenic Institute’s (AHI’s) 36th Anniversary Hellenic Heritage Achievement and Public Service Awards Dinner on March 12, 2011, 7 p.m., The Capital Hilton, Washington, D.C.

Constantine, who starred in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” will be honored by AHI along with:

  • The American College of Greece,
  • U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley, Nevada’s First Congressional District,
  • Dr. Takey Crist, Leader in Women’s Healthcare and Community Activist, and
  • Larry Michael, The “Voice of the Washington Redskins.”

Jane Monzures, host, WGN’s “Living Healthy Chicago” will be the evening’s emcee.

“We are thrilled John Aniston has agreed to participate in honoring Michael Constantine at our awards dinner,” said AHI President Nick Larigakis.

Last year, Aniston received the AHI Hellenic Heritage Achievement Award for his unparalleled achievements and excellence in his field. In his remarks he spoke about his pride in his Greek heritage.
